Code of Conduct & Code of Ethics

At NijnnoVision, ethics are not just guidelines, they are the foundation of our identity and the compass for everything we do. This Code sets out the core values and behavioral standards we expect from everyone within our organization; consultants, employees, and contracted professionals alike.

By living up to this Code, we aim to deliver lasting value to our clients, partners, employees, and society, while strengthening the long-term continuity of NijnnoVision.

Responsible by Choice
We take collective responsibility for the future.
Our actions reflect this:
– We work almost paperless and actively encourage clients to do the same
– We reject unnecessary travel and prefer virtual meetings via Teams, Zoom, or similar tools
– We choose clients and projects that align with our sustainable philosophy
– We use flexible office spaces and prefer electric transport or public transit
– We send back paper mail with a request to switch to digital communication

Our Ethical Code

Every NijnnoVision professional is expected to adhere to the following principles:

  • Legal and Ethical Integrity: We comply fully with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, guided by the highest ethical standards.
  • Impartial & Responsible Service: We act fairly, respectfully, and without bias—delivering honest, competent, and independent advice.
  • Respect for Human Rights & Individual Dignity: We safeguard the rights, privacy, and dignity of every person we work with.
  • Confidentiality: We take all necessary measures to protect sensitive information and will never disclose data or results to third parties without prior written consent.
  • Client-Centered Advice: If a project offers insufficient value to the client, we say so—honestly and upfront.
  • Professional Competence: We do not take on work for which we are unqualified and commit to continuous professional development.
  • Lifelong Learning: We maintain and improve our knowledge, skills, and expertise through ongoing education.
  • Corporate Citizenship: We actively contribute to a safe and responsible society through social engagement and awareness.
  • Avoiding Conflicts of Interest: We prevent conflicts between clients or colleagues wherever possible.
  • Loyalty to the Client: We never reuse knowledge or information from previous projects if it could harm the original client.
  • Environmental Responsibility: We align our work with the preservation of nature and actively promote sustainability in our business practices.
  • Professional Integrity: We will never damage the reputation of the consulting profession through intent, neglect, or questionable alliances.
  • Transparency in Compensation: We accept no secondary rewards, commissions, or benefits beyond agreed fees, unless explicitly approved by the client.
  • Diversity & Human Development: We respect every individual’s uniqueness and create environments where people can grow in their own capacity.
  • Internal Ethical Engagement: Our ethics are not just policies, they are lived from the inside out, embodied in our culture, leadership, and daily decisions.

The 10% Principle at NijnnoVision
– As a social enterprise, NijnnoVision dedicates at least 10% of its net revenue and employee time (approx. 4 hours per week) to charitable causes and social initiatives.
– Our profits are made possible by clients who believe in our mission. That’s why they have a say in how we allocate our 10% impact budget.
– We collaborate with associates, independent professionals, and partners. When we generate leads, we share at least 10% of the invoiced revenue, and when engaging external experts, we retain no more than 10%.
